  • Road accident victims (SAAQ)
  • Accident at work (CSST)
  • Canadian armed forces
  • RCMP member
  • Member of the Veterans

Is a medical referral necessary to consult a chiropractor?

No. Your chiropractors in Gatineau are first contact health professionals and no medical referral is necessary.

Is the care covered by the RAMQ?

No. Your chiropractors work in the private health network and care is therefore not covered by the Quebec health insurance plan.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, direct payment (Interac), check or cash.

Do the insurance companies pay for the treatments directly?

No. You must pay for your sessions and an insurance receipt will be given to you. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance for reimbursement.

How long is an appointment?

The first meeting with a chiropractor from our team is a one-hour appointment. This meeting consists of an initial interview, a complete examination of your condition as well as the taking of x-rays if necessary. The second consultation lasts 30 minutes during which the chiropractor will take the time to explain your diagnosis and everything that can be done to help you. Subsequent visits vary between 15 and 30 minutes depending on the condition and treatment.

How many treatments can I expect?

Each individual is different and responds to treatment differently. Generally speaking, if your condition can be helped with chiropractic care, you can expect significant results between 6 and 12 visits.

Would I always be treated by the same chiropractor?

Unless you specify otherwise, you will always be treated by the same chiropractor. Due to vacation periods, however, it is possible to be received urgently by a chiropractor other than the one who treats you normally.

Appointment cancellation or change policy

In order for us to manage schedules and the waiting list more efficiently, you are required to cancel or change your appointment 24 hours in advance. If this deadline is not respected, the Clinic will be obliged to invoice 50% of the amount of the fees provided for the missed consultation. Thank you for your understanding.
